Principal Investigator

Paweł Korpal

An assistant professor in the Department of Translation Studies, Faculty of English at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, and a practising translator and interpreter. He is involved in interdisciplinary research combining Interpreting Studies and psychology. His research interests include: stress and emotion in conference and community interpreting, cognitive processing in simultaneous interpreting, the use of eye-tracking in Translation and Interpreting Studies, as well as psychophysiological measures of emotional language processing.

Katarzyna Jankowiak

A psycholinguist, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psycholinguistic Studies, Faculty of English at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. She is experienced in conducting research using psychophysiological measures (EEG and skin conductance responses), which she has been employing with a view to examining different aspects of bilingual language processing

Łukasz Dominik Kaczmarek

An associate professor of psychology in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. Head of Social Psychology Center. Founder and head of Psychophysiology and Health Lab. His primary research is focused on positive emotions, happiness interventions, constructive interpersonal relationships, and psychophysiology. He has studied the function of positive emotions across several contexts, from romantic couples to esports players.
